Worst service call ever
I had several plumbing issues that I wanted to address. Each one was "shot down" by the young man sent to help me. He did not have ideas or alternative solutions for my needs and gave me the impression that he did not want to do any work at my home. He told me that he "could do " the work "but I might damage your.....countertop, wall, etc" I guess they have plenty of money &/or jobs, because it was clear that he didn't have time for me. Next time, I will call a small or one-person operation.

Unscrupulous
H P Pipeworks (Champion Plumbing?) was hired by Lowes to install a gas dryer at our home. It is a Cabrio steam dryer. Upon arrival the plumber stated that "oh it is a steam dryer, that will another $239". I told him forget it just hook up the gas in that case. Called Lowes and they said he had never seen a steam dryer and didn't know what to do. They sent someone else who did it in about 1 minute for free(just involves placing a hose from the washer to the dryer.) They left my dryer about 14 inches from the wall with a stiff copper pipe instead of the new flexible hose and the steam hose doubled back over itself so that the dryer could not go back towards the wall. Lowes told me that it would cost another service call for them to come back and fix it!! One is just as bad as the other. Felt the plumber was out to take advantage because my 20 year old daughter stayed home for the installation. Treated us like dirt.
